Amit Patel DMD - Dentist
Dr. Patel is a 1997 graduate from Mercer School of Engineering following which he trained at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and then the Cleveland Clinic. After completing a year of private practice in Cleveland, Dr. Patel decided to settle in Cary, NC. Dr. Patel designed and built West Cary Dental in the summer of 2003. He wanted to focus the practice primarily around general and comprehensive dentistry for families. Dr. Patel is married and resides in Cary with his wife Anu and children Sohum and Siya. He is an active member of various community service organizations. He enjoys traveling, playing tennis and meeting new people. He looks forward to treating you and your family with his team.
Peggy - Office Manager
Peggy joined our team in 2006. She is proficient in all phases of practice management and has a contagiously warm personality. She resides in Harnett County and enjoys spending time with her 2 sons, 3 grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoys, cooking, gardening and crafting.
Lorraine - Front Desk Receptionist
Lorraine joined our team in 2008 as she resides in Cary with her husband, children and grandson. She represents the practice extremely well supporting the front office with patient care needs. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking and water color painting.
Shelley - Certified Dental Assistant, CDA
Shelley joined the team recently with extensive training including the US Air Force as well as private practice. She brings positive energy and exceptional clinical ability. She is excited to meet patients and assist with their dental needs. She has two grown daughters and 3 grandchildren. She enjoys concerts, yoga and cooking.
Sherry - Registered Dental Hygienist
Sherry completed her hygiene training over 26 years ago and joined our team in 2006. She is an extremely warm and caring individual who has excellent clinical abilities. She resides in Holly Springs with her husband and two sons.
Jasmine - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jasmine recently relocated to the Cary area with her fiancé and miniature dachshund. She has worked in dentistry since 2009, beginning as a dental assistant and completed dental hygiene school in 2015. She is also a veteran of the US Air Force. In her free time, she enjoys trail walks, cooking and doing yoga.
