The answer is YES...I have had the best experience with Dr. Patel and his team throughout the past 15 years. From Loraine and Peggy at the front desk, Sherry (our hygienist) and Tammy, Dr. Patel and Shelly, these people have witnessed the chaos of my mouth for several years and have fought the hard battle to make it as close to a Dentyne commercial as humanly possible - and they did it all with care, compassion, and true professionalism. I for many years (hated) going to the dentist in fear of the pain and anguish that would ensue, now it's a country club experience with West Cary Dental and their team of mouth saving heroes. THUMBS UP FOR DOCTOR PATEL, HE'S THE BEST!!!!!**** There are plenty of good dentists, there are great dentists but Dr. Amit Patel goes above and beyond. I have never meet a doctor who shows this much genuine concern for their patients. On new years I slipped and banged my face on the edge of a pool. One front tooth was completely knocked out and the other broken in half. Dr. Patel came to the office on new years day to take a look at the injuries. While extracting the tooth that was broken in half he took extreme caution; he was very gentle while injecting lidocaine and moving my lips. Although it was not a comfortable experience, he talked me threw everything he was doing and made a tooth extraction as pleasant as a tooth extraction can be. After that, he called me the next day to check in. A few days later I had 2 titanium implants put in at Triangle Implant Center and he called to check in after that procedure as well. Never thought I’d look forward to an annual appointment but I always look forward to coming into Dr. Amit Patel’s clinic. One of the first doctors I’ve met that solves all of his patients’ problems without over prescribing medicines or invasive procedures, even though there is corporate pressure within the medical community to do so.
